Yes they crease, yes they require ironing, and if washed at a high temperature they may shrink slightly. But they are breathable, soft, better for your child and better for the planet. We have re-introduced our range of 100% Organic Cotton products because we didn't know how many of you liked them. Now they'll be here to stay.
100% Organic Cotton
Machine Wash: For organic cotton items, it's best to turn them inside out and machine wash using cold water on a gentle cycle. This helps preserve the colour and quality of the fabric.
Use Gentle Detergents: Opt for eco-friendly, mild detergents that are free from harsh chemicals. These are not only better for the garment but also for the environment.
Avoid Bleach: Bleach can break down the natural fibres of organic cotton and cause yellowing. Stick to non-chlorine bleach if necessary.
Air Dry: If possible, hang your items to dry naturally. This method is gentle on the fabric and energy-efficient. If you need to use a dryer, use a low heat setting to prevent shrinkage.
Iron While Damp: Organic cotton is best ironed while it's still slightly damp. Use a warm setting on your iron. If the garment is already dry, use the steam setting on your iron.
No Dry Cleaning: Dry cleaning uses harsh chemical solvents, which are not necessary for organic cotton and can degrade the fabric over time.
